We’re on Twitter (and only Twitter, for now)
The official Twitter account for Andiami: The Quest for Liberty (@ANDIAMIproject) has launched! This is the project’s first and only social media account to date.
Why we’re limiting our social media channels
We have chosen to limit Andiami’s social media at this point for two important reasons:
Our full attention is on our most pressing priorities.
Limiting channels enables us to focus on the upcoming unveiling event and the development of our products.
Limiting the project’s official communication channels helps reduce scams.
By limiting channels, we’re making it easy to ensure you receive official Andiami information. We can’t stress this enough: Only trust information from our official communication channels.
For now, we’re using only our website (andiami.org), Twitter (@ANDIAMIproject), and email (andiami@decentral.ca) to communicate information about the project.
NOTE: Only people who have signed up for the Andiami whitelist will receive email newsletters. Should we add additional communication channels, we will announce them on our blog. We’ll also maintain a list of official channels on our website.
How to tell if a communication is from us
If you are ever in doubt about whether a communication is actually from us:
Check that the website URL in your address bar reads https://andiami.org
Make sure the Twitter handle is @ANDIAMIproject and not one that looks like it.
Carefully examine the email header, making sure all the characters in the “from” address match [andiami@decentral.ca].
Please review our blog post on how to avoid scams. We will do our best to help, but in the end it is up to you to protect yourself. Be safe, please. ❤️
As awareness of Andiami grows, it is very likely that bad actors will attempt to take advantage of Andiami community members. Education and awareness are the best defence against scams, so we’ve put together this information to help you protect yourself.
